Acting Governor: US Embassy Sidewalk to Open This Week

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono is targeting the concrete barrier that closes the sidewalk in front of the US Embassy building to be opened this week.

It is being well communicated by the Foreign Ministry to US Embassy

According to him, the administration process for opening the sidewalk access was currently being finalized involving the US Embassy and Foreign Ministry.

"Maybe this week. I need administration that has been discussed, discussed between the Foreign Ministry and the Embassy. Hopefully soon," he expressed, Thursday (6/8).

He had coordinated with the Director General for America and Europe (Amerop), and Foreign Ministry regarding the opening of the sidewalk access. According to him, communication between the ranks of the Jakarta Provincial Government, the Foreign Ministry and US Embassy went smoothly.
